Auto examen de mama
El auto examen de mama toma sólo unos minutos y puede salvar vidas. Es una maniobra que cada mujer puede realizar en su casa y que permite realizar una consulta precoz ante pequeños cambios en la mama.

Se recomienda realizar el auto examen a partir de los 20 años y durante toda la vida, inclusive aquellas mujeres embarazadas o en etapa de menopausia.

En aquellas mujeres que no han pasado por la menopausia, el auto-examen debería realizarse idealmente de 7 a 10 días después del primer día de menstruación, cuando sus mamas están menos sensibles.

En las mujeres que ya han trascurrido por la menopausia, el examen puede realizarse en cualquier día del mes; pero eligiendo siempre el mismo día del mes para hacerlo.
